Mount Tamborine Coffee Plantation

The “Mount Tamborine Coffee Plantation” is a small family owned and operated boutique coffee plantation and roastery specialising in producing high quality gourmet coffee.  We are located approximately 40 kilometres west of the world famous Gold Coast Beaches, high on the fertile plateau of Mount Tamborine.

Our plants have been selected from the world’s finest stock. The rich volcanic soil, pure mountain water and high altitude (550 metres above sea level), combined with our organic growing principles, make our beans some of the most sought after in Australia and the world.

We process and roast our handpicked beans on site to ensure that quality is not compromised.

Our products are available in whole beans or ground and custom roasts are available on request.

“BLACK MAGIC COFFEE” – this product has been purposely sourced from the world’s highest caffeine rated coffee beans (approx 1.75% caffeine).  Originally used by tribesmen for activities requiring extra alertness and stamina, this product is a definite must for those looking for a caffeine hit, and a good one at that!
We roast these beans medium to dark which gives them a full bodied flavour but not to the point of bitterness.  This coffee makes an absolutely unreal crème for those who use an espresso machine and can easily be blended to give a unique and personal flavour/taste.  Black Magic has a strong cult following and it is not surprising why….

“MTCP ORGANIC COFFEE” – a rich smooth Arabica coffee grown organically on our estate. Moderately low in caffeine, it is ideal as an after dinner coffee or for those that don’t require a full caffeine hit.  Our Organic Coffee has a light caramel flavour and is naturally sweet due to the climatic growing conditions and the fact that it is picked and processed by hand, ensuring only the ripest high quality beans are used.
We then give the beans a medium roast which we think compliments the flavour without losing any of their unique characteristics.  This coffee is very popular and we supply a number of quality cafés, wineries, restaurants and serious individuals with it, both nationally and internationally.
