‘Ultimate Lightroom’ Photography Weekend

DATES: 30 July – 1 August, 2010

O’Reilly’s Plateau provides stunning pictorial opportunities for photographers. Join our skilled leader Darran Leal and special guest Philip Andrews as they assist you in your passion for photography. This special workshop will target Adobe Lightroom and touch on its combined use with PhotoShop. World leading expert, Philip Andrews joins us for a full day. This is a rare chance for you to have one of the world’s leading digital exponents demonstrate and help you to use Lightroom. We guarantee that this will help you to be more creative.

“Off the Beaten Track”

DATES: 4 – 6 August and 11 – 13 August, 2010

Each year our ‘Off the Beaten Track’ program gives experienced bushwalkers the opportunity to visit some of the spectacular areas of Lamington and surrounds that can’t be accessed by graded pathways. These walks are conducted for those who regularly participate in strenuous walks and enjoy the challenge of hiking in rugged, isolated areas.

32nd Annual “Forest Weekend”

Join our visiting experts for an introduction into the complex world of the rainforest. Learn about the different make-up of trees and leaves within the rainforest.

33rd Annual “Bird Week”

DATES: 31 October – 7th November, 2010

O’Reilly’s famous Bird Week is an internationally acclaimed festival of birds and features key ornithologists and guest lecturers from around Australia. A unique program of activities is offered to ‘birdos’ which includes guided walks, 4WD excursions, lectures, spotlighting, bird counts and audio visual presentations.
