This year’s event will be held on Sunday, 21st November 2010

The “Tour de Tamborine 2009” was an incredible event that mixed competition, fun, and the real ability to make a difference. And what better place to do it than the picturesque surroundings of Tamborine Mountain and the Gold Coast Hinterland.

The day comprised several cycling, running or walking events for all ages and abilities, backed up with fun family activities and entertainment, all with the purpose of raising much needed funds for local charities in the area.

It was a tremendous success with over 600 entries taking part in either the walk, run or cycle. An incredible near $20,000 was raised, with the State Emergency Services, Rural Fire Brigade, PresCare Roslyn Lodge and the Tamborine Mountain Defensive Driving Initiative being the beneficiaries.

So come and join the fun in 2010 and have a great day out, feel healthier, and make a difference!
